GETZVILLE, N.Y. (June 21, 2022) – For nearly 20 years, Dr. Brian Albrecht has served faithfully as the President of MissionGO. God has given the increase, and the mission has expanded in size and reach under his direction—as it brings humanitarian aid in the name of Jesus Christ. Dr. Albrecht and his wife, Patti, have announced their retirement from the mission, effective May 31, 2023.

“It has been a pleasure serving the Lord at MissionGO. My family moved to Buffalo from New Jersey in 2001 to become the Executive Vice President, before taking over the responsibility of President on November 1, 2003. The Lord is so faithful,” said Albrecht.

The Albrechts’ retirement announcement was solely their own decision; there were certainly no requests for their retirement.

“MissionGO is incredibly thankful for Dr. Albrecht’s presidential service and for the countless ways in which he has invested his time and effort into MissionGO’s ministry in North America and around the world,” said Matthew B. Herdzik Jr., Board Chair of MissionGO.

The Board of Directors has formed a search committee. “The goal is to have a new President in place by the time Dr. Albrecht completes his ministry with MissionGO,” said Herdzik.

MissionGO is committed to continuing its special care and services to its missionaries during this time—and into the future. Visit for more information.
