GloryWay Quartet In Concert On September 12
By Joyce Spamer
We are praying that everyone is doing well during this COVID-19 Virus. We want to remember all those that have lost friends and family members.
Southern Gospel NY is looking forward to getting together with everyone and praising the Lord for his goodness with a Dinner and a Concert with GloryWay Quartet on September 12, 2020 at 5:30 PM. Dinner and Concert will be held at Spencerport Bible Church 1948 N. Union Street, Spencerport, NY 14559.
Every year we ask people attending our concerts to vote for who they would like to get the award for Artist of the Year, (chosen from groups we have had come into Rochester) and last year GloryWay Quartet was chosen as Southern Gospel Artist of the Year for 2019.
Originally we had them scheduled for just a concert but because we had to cancel our May Dinner/Concert we have decided to have our 1st Dinner/Concert for 2020 with GloryWay in September.
Below is just a little information about the group and for those of you that have heard them before, will agree, they are a great group of guys that love singing for the Lord.
Founded in 2002, owner and lead singer, Justin Crank from Mansfield, Ohio formed the GloryWay Quartet. With a vision in mind and a dream that would become reality, his love for four-part harmony would inevitably come full circle. Justin believed that God would open a door, and with faith he would walk right through.
Now, it is 2020, and GloryWay has signed with Capitol Artists, a prestigious booking agency in the world of Southern Gospel entertainment and with Gateway Management, an agency that is well-known and highly respected in the Gospel music arena.
Traveling over 60,000 miles nationwide annually, the group books dates sometimes a year or more in advance. 215 concerts and events were accomplished in 2019. The group is no stranger to nationwide radio, with current, popular releases such as "Trading a Cross for a Crown," "He Took It Away," and "Following In His Footsteps," two of which hit the Singing News top 80 chart.
GloryWay has participated in numerous NQC showcases through the years. In 2017 and 2018 they were nominated for SGN Scoops Diamond Awards "Sunrise Quartet of the Year" and in 2018, won the award in that category. They were also the showcase winners of the 2016 American Gospel Celebration hosted by Pastor John Hagee.
GloryWay has shared the stage with many of the top names in Gospel music. They have headlined and helped launch landmark fundraisers, such as Celebrating Our US Veterans. GloryWay has had the honor of being guests on the nationally syndicated radio program "Paul Heil and the Gospel Greats" and they've also presented their ministry at the Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia and Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. They minister in several states every year. The group has recorded several projects to date, including a Christmas CD.
The group consists of: Justin Crank, Lead Singer, from Mansfield, Ohio; Bryan Langley, Tenor, from Doyles, Ohio; John Cole, Baritone, from Dixie, W.V. And fan-favorite bass, Justin Sayger, from Dayton, Ohio.
You will love it when Justin Sayger starts to sing and everyone is always amazed at his gifted talents. GloryWay continually boasts a lineup with seasoned ability that will impress even the least of Gospel music fans. They are quickly becoming a household name among industry leaders.
GloryWay Quartet has a heart for the lost, integrity to go the extra mile, and talent without limitation to share with all who listen.
