What is Foretold is Told For the Church. The Prophetic Call of Pastor Don Evans

By Kim Kern

Pastor Don Evans, founder of Reigning Miracle Ministry (RMM) and known for his prophetic calling, ponders the question, what is your take on COVID-19? He says, “To be honest with you, the Bible speaks very clear about it, but most people have never recognized it. The Bible says, ‘If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin and I will heal their land.’” (2 Chronicles 7:14 NIV) Pastor Evans continues on, saying, “I believe it's a call to the church to repent because the end is coming very quick now. We need to serve Him with all of our heart, with all of our soul, and with all of our mind. Everything we got.”

A born-again Christian since 1958, Pastor Evans spent four years in the military, has two doctorate degrees and has pioneered seven churches, established two Bible colleges, and held miracle crusades all over the world, and all throughout North America. His college texts are being used in eight different colleges as it states in his website, www.reigningone.com.

The pastor talks of the current events in his ministry, one being the construction of a new building, which will be their new sanctuary, seating about 600 people as well as an addition that will be a tent-like structure for outside gatherings. Pastor Evans says that the pandemic had stopped construction around April of 2020, but he is optimistic about the continuation of the project once the pandemic has subsided and building will continue. Until then, the ministries are going well, and the church has remained open during the pandemic with the youth ministry growing even stronger than before. “We had a real growth in the youth group,” he observed. “Young people seem to hold us more accountable than the adults. That was tremendous. We have a real good group of youth coming.”

Even though the pandemic has less people coming to the church in person, the Reigning

Miracle Ministry Online is receiving a lot of attention! “Our Internet ministry, I believe, grew and continued on and we heard from people from all over the world. That seemed to flourish better, maybe because they had to stay home anyway,” Pastor Evans muses. The RMM also has an online program called, Talk with The Prophet, which is once a month, and is becoming more popular since the pandemic began. He said, “We shared with them the things that God told us were coming and the things we would be going through.”

“We've had some very positive comments recently on our Sunday morning service,” Evans reflected regarding the online service. “We had a real outpouring of the Holy Ghost Sunday morning. We had miracles and healings and people got saved, so even though we had a small group, it was a powerful service. Pastor Evans said that different types of healings came that day. He noted that people were “healed of heart problems, diabetes and back problems.” Miracles also occurred that day.

When asked if the pandemic affected their greatly anticipated Annual Camp Meeting this year, the Pastor said emphatically, “No, no, we keep pressing on! Sometimes they fight us real hard. We got a letter from President Trump. I wrote him and told him the situation. He assigned a guy right to us and said that if we have any problem, that we refer them to him and he will back us up. He backs the Campmeeting, he backs everything that has to do with God. As long as we're abiding by the rules, that's no problem.”

The Campmeeting starts on July 1, 2021 and continues until July 4, 2021, right through the July fourth holiday weekend. “We'll also have our Talk with The Prophet live from the tent.” Pastor Don Evans said. They will have games for the kids to play with and the food is free and most of it is homemade. The Campmeeting has their own patented sauces and the people enjoy that every year. Pastor Evans said that “God supplies the needs” for the Campmeeting and they had already surpassed their financial goal for it as well as having raised $1.5M for the building fund.

At the age of 10, it was prophesied that Don Evans would have “the greatest miracle healing ministry ever seen” and he would “be a prophet of Almighty God,” as was foretold on the Pastor’s Page on the RMM website. He was saved at the age of 22 in 1958 and has been serving the Lord ever since. “I always let the church know, any time when they want me to step down, I have no problem with that. But I'm not going to do it until God tells me.”
